You know that bad habits make you unproductive, unhappy, lose time and not leaving anything behind.

In this blog post, I will show you the exactly 11 Bad Habits You Must Eliminate From Your Daily Routine. So, first thing first:

1. Not having a morning routine.

I remember when I didn’t have a morning routine. I was checking my email inbox, checking what is new on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, watching what other people do and responding to everybody else. I was feeling awful, stressful and at the end of the day, I felt like I was accomplished nothing.

How to fix it?

Own your mornings like I did. Wake up every single day at the same hour, review your plans, exercise, read, eat a healthy breakfast and then you can check what is in your email box.

2. Not preparing.

My first speech at Toastmasters. Yeah. I remember. I wasn’t prepared at all. I was feeling anxious, worried about it and at one moment on the stage, I forgot what I want to say. It’s been awful.

How to fix it?

Preparing to require time and effort. So, next time when you have a meeting, a speech, prepare ahead at least 2-3 days before the event.

3. Complaining.

Complaining influence you in a negative way, and keeping you away to focus on finding a solution to a problem.

How to fix it?

Stop complaining. The real problem is you. Next time, ask yourself “Where is my mind right now?”

4. Multitasking.

I know you are busy. You have so many things to do and get them done. And you know that multitasking kills you, make you lose focus and you feel totally unproductive.

How to fix it?

If you want to get things done, faster than ever, you know what to do: focus on the simple task at a time. That’s it.

5. Not having a plan.

If you don’t have a plan, you probably follow somebody else plan. Planning is essential for you. Think about for a second, what would happen if you go on a trip in the woods without a map? You get lost. That’s right. Planning is like having a map before entering the woods.

How to fix it?

Make a plan. Start where you are right now and where you want to go or do and the most important who you want to become.

6. Watching TV.

I am the greatest heater of TV. I am amazed by how many years spend average people watching TV, eight years and 10 months. That’s insane. Imagine, those years are gone forever. It’s freaking me out.

How to fix it?

Stop watching TV.

7. Not exercising.

It’s really a bad habit.

How to fix it?

Go out and walk, run, hit the gym. Your body is built to move. So, what are you waiting for? My approve? You don’t need it. It is already in your hands.

8. Perfection.

Yes, I recognize, I am a perfectionist. I was waiting the perfect time to write this perfect blog post, and guess what, I write it. It’s perfect. Isn’t it? No, and never will be. There is always room to add some things.

How to fix it?

Start doing, release the “beta” version even if it sucks. Worry instead why do not start rather than waiting the perfect time or the perfect people.

9. Not having a goal.

Not having a goal, is like going on a trip and you don’t know where you want to be. Not having a goal is a bad habit.

How to fix it?

Grab a pen and a paper and write down 3 goals would you like to achieve this month, goals for your health, career, relationships, etc. Look at them, hold the prize in your hands, feel them, smile at them and start now.

10. Saying YES!

Saying yes is another bad habit! Not only will make you uncomfortable but also

How to fix it?

Learn to say no! Look at Warren Buffett. That’s why he became so famous and achieve so much in his life because he learned to say NO.

11. Not having enough sleep.

You know that no. 1 cause of fatigue is not having enough sleep. Not having enough sleep can also make you feel nervous, stressed and totally unproductive during all day.

How to fix it?

Schedule your sleeping. Sleep at the same hour every day, at least 7h.
